State police at the Fogelsville barracks conducted a speed enforcement detail on Tuesday, March 14, along Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County.

A fixed wing aircraft was used in the detail.A total of eight speeding citations and two seat belt violations were issued. The vehicle with the highest speed was clocked at 103 miles-per-hour.Troopers will continue with periodic speed details on I-78 in an effort to target aggressive drivers and reduce crashes.
