A Monroe County man is facing a charge of public drunkenness following an incident that occurred on Monday, March 12, about 1:47 a.m.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said at the time stated officers responded to The Brookside Inn on Main St., in Tobyhanna, to assist ambulance personnel with an unresponsive intoxicated male who was reportedly lying in a puddle.On scene officers identified the male as Eric C. Lee, 24, of Tobyhanna. Lee showed signs of being highly intoxicated. When ambulance personnel attempted to treat Lee he became uncooperative. Officers attempted to place him under arrest and he resisted.Officers had to use a electronic device, taser, to get control of Lee. He was then taken into custody and placed in the county prison in Snydersville.
