A domestic incident has led to the jailing of a Carbon County resident.

Lehighton police said Brian Reese, 29, of 108 Bridge St., was charged with simple assault and harassment following a incident at his residence that occurred on Sunday, March 11, about 4 p.m.Police said the victim of the assault, not identified, was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for treatment.Reese was arraigned before on-call District Judge Casimir Kosciolek, of Lansford, and committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning, in lieu of $2,500 bail.
