Nora Tappan, Lehighton, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Penn College of Technology of Williamsport, with a GPA of 3.5.

Nora is the daughter of Tim and Ellen Tappan. She is a 2007 graduate of Lehighton Area School Distrct. She attended Lehigh Carbon Community College and then earned her dental hygiene license at Northampton Community College and then earned her dental hygiene license at Northampton Community College in 2009.She received certification to provide local anesthesia in 2011. Nora is currently working on her internship at the Dental Hygiene Clinic at

N.C.C. She is employed by Dr. Clark C. Hawk, DDS, and also by Dr. William F. Tinsley, DMD, P.C.Nora is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the American Dental Association. She will receive her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene in May 2012.
