A Northumberland County man is facing charges following a gun-pointing incident in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Bradley Steven Rumbel, 23, of Mount Carmel, has been charged with simple assault for an incident that occurred about 11:27 p.m. on Friday, March 2, at 214 Pattersonville Road, Ringtown, in Union Township.Troopers said Rumbel and Paul Galen Rumbel, 46, of that address, got involved in a verbal argument that escalated when Bradley Rumbel pulled a 9mm handgun from his back pocket and pointed it at Paul Rumbel. Paul Rumbel proceeded to punch Bradley Rubeml in the face, then push him out the front door of the residence.
