Monroe business cited by PLCB

A Monroe County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Designer Homes Inc., trading as Wayside Colony Saloon, Route 447, Canadensis, Price Township, was cited for sold alcoholic beverages after their restaurant liquor license expired on Sept. 30, 2011, and had not been renewed and/or validated.The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
