Northern Lehigh High School senior Christina Bastardi has announced plans to continue her academic and basketball career at College Misericordia

Bastardi has been a four-year member of the Bulldogs varsity, starting since her freshman year at point guard. This past season, Bastardi had career-high offensive numbers in helping Northern Lehigh reach the District 11 Class AA semifinals. She scored 258 points (10.8 ppg.) and led the team in three-pointers with 11. She also shot 65 percent from the free throw line.Bastardi is also a member of the Northern Lehigh track and field team. Her other school activities include SADD, the National Honor Society and the Library Club.She is the daughter of Sheila Bachman and plans to major in Clinical Laboratory Science at Misericordia.
