Maggie Sauerwine, a senior at Northern Lehigh Area High School, has been named the Woman's Club of Slatington's Girl of the Month for February.

She previously played soccer and was a member of the German Club and Art Crew. Currently, she is a member of the Library Club, Student Council, cross country team and serves on her church council.She was the winner of the Women's Club painting competition and has earned JV soccer and cross country letters. She has been named to the high honor roll.She enjoys painting, animals and interested in health and beauty and foreign culture. She is an advocate of green awareness.Her future plans are to attend college majoring in nutritional sciences and food marketing, and world travel.Maggie is the daughter of Pamela and Clayton Sauerwine of Slatington. She has a younger sister, Abbey, and an older brother John.
