Tamaqua Police have issued a citation in connection with an incident on Dec. 18, 2011.

On that day, at 1:57 a.m., officers dealt with John Middleton, 45, of 117 Greenwood St.. Middleton was walking along US209, toward Coaldale, and was in an obviously inebriated state.He was cited for public drunkenness.
