ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Guest speakers stopped by the Carbon County Head Start/Pathstone in Coaldale as part of Read Across America week, which runs in conjunction with Dr. Seuss's birthday, March 2. Guest readers consisted of volunteers from the Panther Valley library, staff from the Panther Valley School District and volunteers from St. Luke's Hospital - Miners Campus. Each day this week, classrooms focuses on two Dr. Seuss books, coinciding literay activitiesto go along with the book.Ms. Theresa Stone, a reading specialist from the Panther Valley Elementary School reads a Dr. Seuss book titled "Therre is a Wocket in my Pocket" to Ms. Stacy Walker's pre-kindergarten class.
