Knockdown 2012 to 'Bowl Over Cancer' in Hometown Saturday

Knockdown 2012 to Bowl Over Cancer to benefit the Carbon/Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society will be held Saturday, March 3 at Spare Time Bowling Lanes in Hometown. Bowling will be from 1-3 p.m. and the after party will be the same day from 3-6 p.m. at the Batter's Box in Summit Hill.

There is a cost per person, and there will be 4- or 5-person teams (up to 8 persons). The cost includes two games of bowling, shoe rental and the after party.For those who just want to attend the after party, a set donation is required.Each bowler is asked to find at least five sponsors. This is not required, just requested as an extra way to raise money.Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories including High Bowler, High Sponsorship, Best Dressed and more.Due to the popularity of this event, pre-registration is required.
