An Albrightsville man has been charged by the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Layon Peebles, 26, also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a stop sign violation.Officer Jeffrey Lutz of the police department, said Peebles was stopped by police for a stop sign violation.When the officer approached the vehicle that Peebles was occupying, the odor of marijuana was detected.
