A Delaware state driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Wade Knight, 43, of Smyrna, was stopped about 3:10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, along SR940 in the area of the Sullivan Trail Motel, in Blakeslee, for an equipment violation.Knight showed signs of intoxicatioin and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test.He was lodged in the county prison in Snydersville after failing to post $5,000 bail.
