State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, all on Thursday, Feb 16.

A crash occurred about 9:07 a.m. along SR209. Troopers said Jeanette A. Marino, 58, of Brodheadsville, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt when another vehicle backed into her vehicle and the other driver then fled the scene.A crash was reported at 10:47 a.m. along Merwinsburg Road. Troopers said Daniel I. Gutierrez, 19, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla eastbound when he lost control. The car left the road and struck a tree on the right side.Gutierrez was injured and taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance. West End Fire Company volunteers assisted at the scene. Damages were disabling to the vehicle.Troopers cited Gutierrez for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.Three crashes occurred along Evergreen Road in Chestnuthill Township, all between 11 and 11:05 a.m.In the first crash Sharon Y. Fields, 43, of Saylorsburg, driving a 2002 Ford Explorer when it went off the right side and up an embankment which caused the it to roll over onto to the road. She was not injured and was cited for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.Ronald L. Franks, 43, of Saylorsburg, driving a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 truck when it hit a large rock on the side of the road. He was not injured and was cited for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.David D. Adan, 33, of Effort, was driving a 2000 Honda Accord when he crashed into a tree along the berm. He was not injured. He was cited for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.West End fire and ambulance responded to the scene, troopers noted.
