A vehicle stop by members of the Pocono Mountain Regional police has led to drug charges against the driver and a passenger.

Police said a stop was made about 8:12 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, along Summit Avenue, at the Salvation Army store parking lot, in Pocono Summit, Coolbaugh Township, for a vehicle code violation.The driver was identified as Samuel Gaston, 21, of Swiftwater.A search of the vehicle and passenger, Kenneth Benitez, 25, of Jessup, was conducted. Found was marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Drug charges will be filed against Gaston and Benitez, police said.
