Two men from New York were arrested by McAdoo Police on drug related charges on Feb. 3.

Joshua Jimenez, 20, of New York City and Pedro Alvarez, 24, of Queens, were taken into custody at 4:26 p.m. that day after allegedly delivering three bundles of heroin to a building on West Blaine Street. The bundles have a street value of $300.While both men are from out of state, they have friends and family in the Hazleton area, according to McAdoo Police.Both men were arraigned on charges of delivery of a controlled substance. Each man had his bail set at $25,000 straight cash bond.Unable to post the required bail, both men were lodged in the county prison.
