Three Schuylkill County residents are facing charges following an incident in Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said a vehicle stop was made for a traffic violation about 5:41 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at the intersection of state routes 209 and 248 in Lehighton.As a result the driver, Karl Allen Brobst, 30, of New Ringgold, was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) of a controlled substance. His two passengers, Bradley Brobst, 27, of New Ringgold, and Edward Whitehead, 26, of Andreas, were taken into custody for drug law violations and later released after processing. The two will be charged with drug law violations.
