Arrests reported by PSP Lehighton

State police at Lehighton reported on arrests made by troopers recently.

Troopers said Rafael Velez, 24, of Catasauqua, was cited for harassment following an incident that occurred at the Riverwalck restaurant and bar, Parryville. Troopers said about 2 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, Velez allegedly struck Nicole Lynn Dietrich, 24, also of Catasauqua, in the facial area. Dietrich did not suffer any injuries in the incident, troopers said.Troopers said Richard Marstella, 7 Little Gap Rd., Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, is facing a charge of harassment. Troopers said about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday Susan Lynn Wagner, same address, called the barracks and reported that Marstella had been harassing her and threatening her earlier. Upon further investigation troopers said it was learned the two were having a verbal argument earlier. Troopers said Marstellar was charged.Troopers said about 2:40 p.m. on Sunday Matthew Garry Wentz, of 314 Bridge St., Lehighton, came to the barracks to pick up a report. Upon further investigation it was learned that Wentz had a warrant out for his arrest issued out of the Dallas County Sheriff's Department in Missouri for a felony drug possession charge.Troopers are investigating a reported assault incident. Troopers said Keith Formisano, 38, of Penn Forest Township, allegedly struck Roberto Anthony Antignani, 44, of Jim Thorpe, in the head area, behind his right ear, during an altercation that occurred about 10:14 a.m. on Feb. 9.The two men were in the parking lot of the Shell Service Station, located along SR903 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, when they became involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical.Troopers said the incident is still under investigation.
