A snow-covered road was blamed for a crash in Schuylkill County which resulted in a vehicle crashing into a home. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the accident occurred about 5:36 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, along Sweet Arrow Lake Road, in Pine Grove Township.

Troopers said Christopher L. Desimone, 29, of Lebanon, was operating a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox westbound and attempting to negotiate a left hand cruve. Desimone lost control due to snowy conditions and the vehicle left the road and struck the side of a home at 229 Sweet Arrow Lake Road. The home is owned by Monroe A. Kintzel, troopers said.Desimone and his wife, Alicia N., 29, were not injured and no one in the home was injured. Damages were to the front porch of the home and disabling to the vehicle.
