State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a scattering of rubbish incident.

Troopers said during the period of Feb. 4 at 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. on Feb. 5, unknown persons deposited about 50 boxes alongside a dumpster to the rear of Bagel Experience located in the West End Plaza in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.Troopers said the names and addresses on the boxes were burned off, however, tracking information from the boxes was obtained.The investigation into the incident is continuing, troopers added.
