A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 11:38 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, along Burger Hollow Road, north of SR209, in Polk Township.
State police at Lehighton said Scott R. Branley, 26, of East Stroudsburg, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in the center console of his pickup truck. The marijuana was seized.Branley was charged with DUI and possession of marijuana, troopers said.
