State police at the Lehighton barracks were summoned to the Blue Mountain Ski Area, Lower Towamensing Township, to investigate two separate incidents.

The first incident happened on Jan. 13 between 5-9:05 p.m. Police said someone stole a black and white checkered bag valued at $125 from inside the locker area of the Summit Lodge.The victim is Casey Daniel Trautwein of Cheltenham.The second incident happened on Jan. 29 between 7:30-8 p.m. Police said Thomas Gable, 18, of Northampton, is alleged to have taken a snowboard that did not belong to him. It was recovered and returned to its owner, a 17-year-old male from Akron, Pa.
