A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a traffic stop.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Peter Anthony Ianniello, 44, of Tobyhanna, was stopped about 2:20 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, along SR196 after being observed committing several traffic violations.He was found to be under the influence. He was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, police said.
