Midas Hair Salon-Schick's Cafe CalcuttaSchick's Cafe Calcutta kicked off the ESRC winter basketball league season with a 55-38 victory over Midas Touch Hair Salon.Chris Decker scored 10 points to lead Schick's.For Midas Touch Hair Salon, Jason Miller tallied nine points.Cuz-N-Joe's Place-Longboard SurfersCuz-N-Joe's Place drained 10 three-pointers and made easy work of the Longboard Surfers, 66-49.Brandon DeCosmo tallied five treys and a game-high 19 points. Nolan Sword and Mike DeMarco added 15 and 13 points respectively.Markiem Jenkins scored 12 points to lead the Longboard Surfers.Kwik Stop/Joey B's-Ryan's Oil & HeatingDefending League Champion Ryan's Oil & Heating withstood a late Pereira's Qwik Stop/Joey B's rally to hold on to a 53-50 victory.Ted Styka's 17 points paced Ryan's Oil & Heating. Joe Schaeffer (11 points) and Jon Scheuer (10 points) also factored in the decision.Tom Kresge and Peter Balogach scored 15 points apiece to lead Pereira's/Joey B's.The Batter's Box-R.R.
