Toomey plans a casework day in Lehighton

U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) announced that his staff will hold a casework day in Carbon County from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 26. The event will be held in the office of state Rep. Doyle Heffley, 110 N. Third St., second floor, Lehighton.

During the casework event at the office, Toomey's staff will be available to help constituents who are having problems with federal agencies and programs. Carbon County residents are encouraged to bring documents they have received from federal agencies related to their issues.Marta Gabriel, Sen. Toomey's Lehigh Valley regional manager, will also be on hand to help area residents at the casework day."The purpose of the event is to let Carbon County residents know that Sen. Toomey is available to meet with his constituents on any issues and concerns, and answer any questions that they might have relative to the federal government," Gabriel said recently.
