Emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle accident that occurred yesterday afternoon in Tamaqua. The incident occurred parallel to the Domino's Pizza parking lot on SR309, N. Railroad Street and involved a green/tan Ford F150 pickup truck driven by CC Simmons of Coaldale and a gray Nissan Terra SUV driven by Megan Skripko of Middleport. Responding in addition to Tamaqua Police were Tamaqua Rescue Squad, firefighters and fire police. Tamaqua Police Officer Michael Hobbs is the investigating officer. There were no reports of any major injuries.
