Schuylkill County businesses cited

Four Schuylkill County businesses were cited by the Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Joan O. Mammarella, trading as The Village Inn, 101 W. Centre St., Mahanoy City, was cited for loud music.The alleged violation occurred on Aug. 14, 2011.Second Mountain Rod & Gun Club, 156 N. Greenview Rd., North Manheim Township, was cited for a local small games of chance act violation, in that it failed to maintain complete and truthful records covering the operation of the licensed business for a period of two years immediately preceding Sept. 12, 2011.Amato's Hospitality Group Inc., trading as Amigo's Mexican Grill, 2880 Pottsville-Minersville Highway, Branch Township, was cited for two violations - that it sold furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to one visibly intoxicated person on July 31, 2011.The second violation was the licensed corporation was not the only one pecuniarily interested in the operation of the licensed business. This violation occurred from Aug. 16 to Sept. 16, 2011, the citation states.Roman's Lounge and Catering Inc., 101-103 S. Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville, was cited for loud music.The alleged violation occurred on various dates between Aug. 26 and Sept. 25, 2011.These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge.
