State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported today two persons were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after separate incidents in Lower Macungie Township.

The first one happened at 2 a.m. Dec. 31.Police said Alicia Lynn Moyer, 21, of Emmaus, was stopped for a traffic stop after which time police said they determined she had been drinking alcohol.The second one happened at 4:22 a.m. Jan. 1. Police said jeffrey Pena, 21, of Whitehall, was stopped for a traffic stop also, with police determining he too had been consuming alcohol before getting behind the wheel.Police said both drivers failed field sobriety tests at the respective scenes.
