State police at Lehighton are investigating two theft incidents.

William L. Cascioli, 44, of 1019 Burger Hollow Rd., in Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone removed a Cub Cadet 32 ton log splitter, a Stihl 250C chainsaw and two red in color 32-foot fiberglass ladders from his property. The theft occurred sometime between Jan. 2 and 9.Troopers said a trailer registration tag was removed from a trailer parked in the 100 block of Gower Rd., in Eldred Township, Monroe County, sometime between Dec. 25, 2011, and Jan. 7. The trailer is owned by Hugh Hunt, of Bethlehem, troopers said.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
