State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of a vehicle registration plate.

Ray R. Gower, of 542 Lamplight Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, reported the plate removed from his vehicle. The plate number is XR24490 and was stolen sometime between Jan. 1 and 7.
