State police at the Fogelsville barracks said a New Tripoli woman escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash at 9 a.m., Dec. 31, on State Route 4040 in Weisenberg Township.

Police said Shannon A. Wisser, 19, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt east on the road when the vehicle went out of control due to black ice. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a guard rail before coming to a halt.The vehicle was towed from the scene.
