State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a recklessly endangering incident whereby someone shot a .22-caliber gun through a home in Branchdale.

The victims are Kyle Shuey, 28, Heather Matukewicz, 26, and a 4-year-old juvenile, who police said were in the room where the shot made impact.The incident happened at 8:55 p.m. Dec. 30, at 96 S. State Road, Reilly Township.Police said the shot was fired into the home from the front of it, traveling through a window screen, breaking an insulated window and entering the house. The round made impact with a post on the staircase railing in the living room, where the three victims were at the time. No one was injured.
