Tara Moran and Peter Semanoff are married

Tara Moran, daughter of Terry and Mari Ann Moran of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Peter Semanoff, son of Gene and Evelyn Semanoff of Lehighton, were united in marriage on July 21, 2012 at Zion

U.C.C. in Lehighton.The Rev. Alan Heckman and the Rev. Edward Clougher, uncle of the bridegroom, officiated the ceremony. The vocalist was JoAnn Schoenberger and the organist was Cindy Mack.The bride chose her sister, Michelle Nelson, and Kari Campbell to serve as co-matrons of honor.Bridesmaids were Andrea Jakubowski and Cassandra Smith, as well as the bridegroom's sisters Alison Semanoff, M.D., and Katie Semanoff.Chelsea Hartman, McKenna Skatell and Emerson Skatell, cousins of the bridegroom, were the flower girls.The bridegroom chose his brother, Jack Semanoff, and Chad Serfass, to be co-best men.Groomsmen included Dedan Brozino, Bryan Makos, Mike Gorman and Chris Moran, brother of the bride.Ushers were Jed Schoenberger and Adam Makos. Brody Nelson, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.A reception at Mahoning Valley Country Club followed the ceremony.The new Mrs. Semanoff earned a bachelor of science in psychology and a master of education in guidance and counseling.Mr. Semanoff has a bachelor of arts in social studies and secondary education from Lycoming College.He is a captain in the U.S. Army and is currently serving as the recruiting company commander for Valley Forge Recruiting.The newlyweds are currently residing in Marlton, N.J.
