Carbon County Planning Commission reviews 5 plans

Carbon County Planning Commission reviewed five plans at a recent meeting, granting approval to four of them and giving conditional plan rejection to the fifth, a minor subdivision/lot line revision submitted by Stephen A. Pecha and Marie A. Green, coexecutors of the Vicie C. Pecha estate in Nesquehoning.

The Pecha plans at 163 E. Center St. and 130 Hazard St. because they lacked requirements of the Nesquehoning Borough Zoning Ordinance. The new lot proposed did not meet minimum lot area, width and minimum yard setbacks. A zoning variance may be required.Approved were the following plans:* CTC Manufacturing, Beaver Meadows, to subdivide two lots at the intersection of Hazle and Mill streets.* Library at Pine Points Plaza, Albrightsville, to allow a 12 by 56-foot building to serve as a temporary structure for a library.* Lands of Robert Pittel, submitted by John and Susan Gallagher, at 382 Evergreen Lane, Lausanne Township, to subdivide 10.6 acres into four lots.Lands of Leona I. Behrens and Amy Lee Behrens of Penn Forest Township to combine three parcels totaling 10.6 to reconfigure two lots, one 3.9 acres and another, 6.7 acres.
