During the third annual Legislative Brunch, sponsored by the Interagency Council of Carbon County, and Child and Family Collaborative Board, Oscar Santizo, right, president of the Interagency Council, announces the winner of a $500 grant. The grant recipient must represent the council's mission statement and serve the residents of Carbon County. This year's recipient was Feed The People, a non-profit community cafe, started four months ago, that provides a free, hot lunch for all community members at locations in Summit Hill, Lansford and Coaldale.
