- All cardboard crafts must be built solely of cardboard, duct tape, string, glue, and paper. Any other material in any part of the craft is grounds for disqualification.

- Tape is permissible on the surface of the craft where it meets the snow.- Crew members may use any safe means to slow the craft; however the method must be able to stop the craft and not contain any unauthorized material.- Teams may consist of one to four Cub Scouts.- Crew members must wear nonhazardous clothing.- All participants must be registered Cub Scouts.- All participants must sign a release form; less than 18 year$ of age require a parental consent. These will be available at registration.- Prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the judges. The decision of the event committee concerning awards or disqualification is final.- Unsportsmanlike conduct Is grounds for disqualification.- No strapping into crafts, nor can a craft be completely enclosed with a participant inside.- Each team is responsible for clearing the mountain of their craft after the race.- Teams must register prior to the event. There will be a mandatory captains meeting before the start of the race. Failure to attend is grounds for disqualification.- All participants must wear a manufacturer helmet.- All teams must adhere strictly to the rules or they will not-be allowed to race.- Each team will get one timed run down the course.
