Palmerton Area School Board on Tuesday unanimously approved the following extracurricular positions, salary pending contract negotiations for the 2014-15 school year:

- Leigh Keenan, head boys' basketball coach- Jeremy Coleman, assistant boys' basketball coach- Brett Zeiber, assistant boys' basketball coach- Rodney Strohl, head girls' basketball coach- Ralph Andrews, assistant girls' basketball coach- Suzanne Lynn, assistant girls' basketball coach- Jaclyn Ivancich, volunteer girls' basketball coach- Katie McCarroll, volunteer girls' basketball coachThe board also approved the following extracurricular position, salary pending contract negotiations for the 2013-14 school year:- Michelle Hock, volunteer softball coachThe board, on an 8-0 vote, with an abstention by Director Joshua Smale, approved the following extracurricular position, salary pending contact negotiations for the 2014-15 school year:- Jodie Smale, varsity cheerleading adviserThe board also approved the following resignations:- Kimberly Seiler, head field hockey coach, effective March 5, 2014.- Bethany Rowland, as head cheerleading coach, effective at the end of the 2013-14 season.- Joseph Spitale, as an assistant football coach, effective Feb. 26, 2014.
