Juveniles cited

Summit Hill police handled five incidents involving juveniles recently.

The first incident occurred on April 13, at 10:15 p.m. Police received a report of a female trespassing on Lehigh Anthracite property. They found a 15-year-old female from Summit Hill to be the person in question. She was charged with trespassing.On April 19, around 7:33 p.m. Police received a report of a boy urinating in Ludlow Park. It was found that the boy was an 11-year-old from Summit Hill. He was charged with disorderly conduct.On April 23, when police received a report from Panther Valley Middle School that a 14-year-old male from Nesquehoning was harassing another student. He was charged with harassment.On May 6, at 12:33 a.m., officers were on routine patrol in the 100 block of East Summit Street. They observed several youths running and going into yards.An investigation revealed that two juveniles had been consuming alcohol. They were later identified as a 15-year-old male and 16-year-old male, both from Summit Hill. Both were cited for underage consumption of an intoxicating beverage.On May 24, Summit Hill police received a report of a couple of juveniles consuming alcohol.An investigation led to finding two 16-year-old males from Summit Hill had been drinking. They were both cited for underage drinking.
