Robert Oswald, 46, of 105 Hill St., Apt. 2, Slatington, has been cited by borough police for violating Slatington's burning ordinance.

Police said the incident happened at 8:39 p.m. June 8 off Railroad Street in the area of the Rails-to-Trails route.Police said the man is charged with illegally burning copper at the site.
