Two persons were injured and charged as the result of a domestic incident in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred about noon on Sunday, July 22, at 68 Main St., Mount Carbon.Troopers said Stephanie Yalsovec, 29, and Kody Kirkland, 20, both of that address, became involved in a verbal argument. During the argument the two pushed each other inside the residence. Yalsovec then proceeded to throw a glass at Kirkland, striking him above the left eye. Kirkland then picked up a piece of broken glass and slashed Yalsovec in the back. The two were taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for treatment. They were later taken before on-call District Judge James Reiley, of Pottsville, each charged with aggravated and simple assault, and harassment.
