Completes residency

Dr. Nicole LynnBendock of Nesquehoning completed her four-year residency in emergency medicine at the Lehigh Valley Health Network on June 16.

Dr. Bendock graduated from Panther Valley High School in 1995. She obtained a master's degree in physical therapy from The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2000, graduating summa cum laude. In 2008, Dr. Bendock graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.While doing her residency at the Lehigh Valley Health Network, Dr. Bendock was a chief resident for the 2011-2012 term. She served as secretary to the Lehigh Valley Residents Association and was a member of the Emergency Medicine Peer Review Committee.She received several awards at the ninth annual Emergency Residency Graduation Ceremony, including an award in Research Excellence, the Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine, and The Humanitarian and Community Service Award.Dr. Bendock has accepted a position at Lehigh Valley Health Network as an attending physician in emergency medicine.She is the daughter of Richard and Linda Bendock of Nesquehoning, and the granddaughter of the late Herbert and Anne Rose Veale of Hazleton and the late Joseph and Celia Bendock of Nanticoke.

Bendock
