Visitors to American Legion Post 316, Summit Hill, are marveling about a painting that pays tribute to U.S. military veterans in general, and fallen comrades from Summit Hill in particular. The painting was done by borough councilman John Mogilski. Veterans Corporal Harry Lawton and Pvt. William T. Davis, both killed in World War I; Water Tender First Class John Yurko, Summit Hill's first casualty in World War II; Corporal Kenneth J. Breslin, a Korean Conflict victim; and Airman Second Class George M. Bevich, who died in the Vietnam War, are featured on the painting.
