Panther GOP club elects its officers

The newly formed Panther Valley Republican Club elected officers Thursday night at a meeting in Nesquehoning.

Elected officers for two-year terms are Michael Frey, president; Thomas Ouly, vice president; and R. Mickey Angst, secretary/treasurer.David Wargo of Summit Hill served as president pro tem during the elections.The next club meeting will be scheduled for a date in April, shortly before the primary election.Supporters of of Republican candidates, including such offices as president, auditor general, attorney general, congress, state senator, and state representative, will be invited to address the club at that meeting.The new club now has 64 members.
