State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 3:30 p.m. Dec. 8, and 9:10 a.m. Dec. 12 at a business in Cressona.

Police said someone arrived on scene at Eifert's Outgrown Outlet, 9 Walnut St., and broke a window at the front of the business to gain entry.Once inside the criminals slightly turned a cash register and knocked a telephone onto the floor, fleeing the scene in an unknown direction and via an unknown means. Police said no items were reported as being missing.The victim is Glennis J. Eifert, 64, of Pottsville.
