Pocono Mountain Regional Police have arrested Alex Vigo, 32, of Long Pond, for driving under the influence.

Police said the arrest was made after a stop for a Vehicle Code violation on Dec. 28 on Rt. 196 in Coolbaugh Township.Police said officers detected the odor of burned marijuana emanating from the vehicle in which Vigo was the operator. Police said he failed field sobriety tests and was arrested and transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood analysis.
