The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans:The Mauch Chunk Trust Company, 1111 North St., Jim Thorpe, filed against David A. Kutz, 348 W. Kline Ave., Lansford, and the United States of America, Washington, D.C., over properties at that address and at 408 W. Kline Ave., Lansford. The bank is seeking $48,405.16, plus continuing interest, costs and fees, for the outstanding mortgage loan note, and removal of two federal tax liens in the amounts of $35,095.55 and $9,671.88 that are filed against the properties by the revenue department.Credit defaultsThe following actions were filed by a credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on a credit card/loan account:FIA Card Services, N.A., Newark, Del., filed against George Fetch Jr., 80 Palm Circle, Lehighton, seeking $14,401.64.FIA Card Services, N.A., Newark, Del., filed against Peggy S. Holtzinger, 548 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, seeking $7,237.62.Club seeks duesThe Pleasant Valley West Club, 4 Creek Road, Jim Thorpe, the duly organized association of property owners in the Pleasant Valley West Subdivision, Penn Forest Township, has filed judgments against property owners who are delinquent in annual dues owed the club.The judgments were certified by District Justice Edward M. They were married on Feb. 29, 2004.Contractor owes outstanding billAmerican Builders & Contractors Supply Co., Inc., a/k/a ABC Supply Co., Wilkes-Barre, has filed a complaint in confession of judgment against Hinkle Construction Co., Inc., and Stephen Hinkle, individually, 1206 Quakake Road, Weatherly, seeking judgment in its favor in the amount of $11,389.18, plus interest.The plaintiff claims it maintains a retail store at the above location, where the defendant incurred debt to ABC. Subsequently, the parties entered into a settlement agreement whereby Hinkle would meet the obligations of debt in which he defaulted, although the complaint states the defendant failed to cure the default.The complaint says the firm initially owed ABC $32,436.50, but paid $24,000 toward the arrearage. It is seeking the balance, interest, filing fees and attorney's costs.
