Reimert, 376B Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, seeking $12,567.04.Credit card costsTarget National Bank, Carnegie, Pa., has filed a judgment against Viola E. Hettler, 1963 Long Run Road, Lehighton, in the amount of $2,680.27 for an outstanding credit card bill, plus costs.The judgment was previously ordered by Magisterial District Judge Bruce Appleton, Palmerton.Appeals suspensionJohn J. Kutsop, Lansdale, Pa., has appealed the proposed suspension of his Pa. driver's license by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation, Harrisburg.In his appeal, the plaintiff says PennDOT notified him on Nov. 23 that his license will be suspended for a 15-day period effective Jan. 4, 2012, pursuant to a Vehicle Code violations. Kutsop contends the suspension is improper or unlawful because he did not knowingly, intelligently and voluntarily plead guilty to a speeding citation he was issued on Oct. 4, 2011.Personal injurysuit is filedKelly Jamison, 29 E. Fourth St., Jim Thorpe, has filed a personal injury lawsuit against the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation, Harrisburg, Pa. State Police, 5730 Interchange Road, Lehighton, and Penn Forest Township, 2010 State Rt. 903, Jim Thorpe. The plaintiff is seeking a jury trial in which judgment in excess of $50,000 is asked.Jamison contends she was the operator of a vehicle that crashed on Jan. 2, 2010 on Rt. 903, causing her to sustain serious injuries. She claims the accident was the result of dangerous and hazardous conditions of the highway, charging the defendants with negligence and carelessness because of snow and ice accumulations across the highway in the area where the accident happened.Jamison says she incurred various medical expenses, suffered physical pain, lost income and earnings because of being incapacitated and has experienced diminution of her ability to enjoy life because of the accident.
