Samantha Cicardo, 22, of Pittston, is facing drunk driving charges as a result of a traffic stop at 3:05 a.m. Dec. 17 at the intersection of routes 940 and 115 in Blakeslee.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said they stopped her vehicle after observing faulty equipment on it. While conducting the stop, police observed an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle.Police said Cicardo failed field sobriety tests and was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test to determine her BAC level.
