Despite heavy rumors both off and online, Bon Jovi, is surely still with us, in contradiction to many random internet blogs claiming that the New Jersey singer suffered a lethal heart attack in an east coast hospital.

That blog spread like wild fire over the internet in the last few days. The 49-year old Bon Jovi, wanting to let everyone known that he was not in the hospital or was dead, posted a photo of himself on his Facebook fan page holding a hand-written sign stating the words, "Heaven looks like New Jersey. Dec. 19th, 2011, 6:00."Social media blog and sharing sites have resulted in a large rash of fake celebrity death rumors, as well as political slander. According to the New York Daily News, Bill Cosby, was hounded repeatedly by claims that he died last year. He eventually took to Twitter and even called in to CNN to plead that it stop, after one report reached his daughter and caused a panic. The New York Daily Times also lists other celebrities stated as falsy meeting their demise, such as Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Eddie Murphy, Morgan Freeman, Harrison Ford and Jeff Goldblum. Rest assured, they are all alive.
