Three are hurt in Monroe crash

Three persons were injured in a two-vehicle crash Dec. 18 at 5:56 p.m. at the intersection of routes 715 and 493 in Jackson Township, Monroe County, according to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

Police said Alexis McNeese, 46, of Stroudsburg, the driver of one of the vehicles, and two of her passengers, David McNeese, 18, and Victoria McNeese, 12, were taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, after the crash. The severity of their injuries was not known at the time, police said.Police said McNeese was driving south on Route 715 when the other vehicle, operated by Arthur Hearns, 77, of Lakeville, Pa., pulled onto the highway and struck the left rear door of the McNeese vehicle. Hearns, who was uninjured, will be cited for a stop sign violation.
